Automatic Painting Function

The AI-powered painter automatically transforms your photos into artistic renderings. It offers a selection of dozens of brushes, with adjustable settings including brush size, hardness, dot pitch, opacity, and pigment density. Fine-tuning these parameters allows for detailed personalization, with smaller brushes capturing more intricate aspects. The feature defaults to a face mask mode that applies a smaller brush specifically to facial regions to preserve detail; this can be toggled off. Users can also adjust the edge blanking effect to simulate a painter's tremor, creating a more authentic stroke texture. A variety of color presets with adjustable intensity are available to enhance the artwork.

Manual Drawing Photo Function

Users can select their own photos and overlay them on the canvas to initiate manual painting. Various brush types—including oil, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, chalk, coal, pastel, and pen—are provided to emulate realistic artistic effects, with options for brush customization. Adjustable parameters include size, hardness, point distance, angle, opacity, and texture, all with real-time preview functionality. Smaller adjustments yield more detailed results closely resembling the original photo. Painting strokes are smoothed using Bezier curves for natural flow.

Preprocessing tools are recommended prior to painting and include effects such as color presets (with adjustable intensity), turbulence (simulating pigment dispersion), grain (mimicking granular pigments), and abstract effects for stylistic variation. Photos can be zoomed via pinch gestures and panned with multi-finger movements for precise editing.

The mode includes a direct "Paint" option allowing users to switch to free creation mode and select colors from the palette for customized artwork. Users can seamlessly switch between normal and creative modes. Additional features include stickers for added fun, brightness adjustment of the underlying photo (with zero brightness hiding the photo for preview purposes), as well as options to clear the canvas, save progress or final work, and access undo/redo functions. Other tools such as eraser, full screen viewing, and sharing are also available.
